Dangbei N2 mini Portable Projector

This is a great little projector. It has a modern look, and is quite versatile. It's pretty compact, but not as tiny as the name would suggest. Has a remote that needs to be paired with the projector, which is a bit strange, as it seems to need line of sight to work. It can tilt to adjust the vertical position, and honestly that part is great. I hate when projectors use that little foot with a screw to slightly adjust the angle. This is way better. It's a smart projector, meaning it has an OS with wifi and Bluetooth. I'll be honest though, my wifi has been having issues with new connections, so I wasn't able to connect to mine. I did try out the system though, and found it a bit laggy. Either than or the remote, which it shouldn't have been since I hadn't started weighing down the system with apps yet. In the end, I do prefer my Google Chromecast streaming stick, as I find it's faster than any of the operating systems on these projectors. Picture looked good, and the brightness and colours were good. Sound was also good, and the fan was pretty quiet. Currently on sale for $289. It's a pretty good entry level smart projector. But I would be prepared to augment your experience with a streaming stick of your choice.

Good projects, need external speakers, yes it does have internal speakers but you have to sit right on top of it and no background noise in order to hear anything. I had mine mounted on a tripod but you can wall mount or ceiling mount. The mount it comes with allows you to adjust vertically OR horizontally depending how you decide to mount it. No auto leveling (So you must make sure your surface that you are using or mounting it to (tripod or whatever) is level.The autofocus works sometimes, even if you have the setting to auto focus, and the picture size defaults to the full size, so you have to adjust the screen size every time you start up (Which is adjustable with the remote which it comes with, which allows you to mount it to set and forget). The keystone auto correction function doesn't work all that well. AS you can see from my attached images. The projector is setup at a slight angle from the wall and not directly facing the wall and you can see the image slightly trapezoid shaped instead of a square (see in both day and night images). (Hence why the 4 stars instead of 5). The AI works OKAY.HOWEVER, it is really quiet and in when the room is dark the picture quality is great once the image is focused.One image is taken during the middle of the day with full light coming into the room and the other is when the room is completely dark. The screen size was set to only 53%, the max screen size is half the size of the full movie theater screen, so it can get massive and it is just as clear when focused!The price point and the picture quality, the size is worth the small nuances that is easily adjustable with the remote as needed.

We had an old projector that was dark and didn’t show well, it was cheap. I saw this reviews on a pop up ad and liked the features and the portability. It is not large and the shape of it is attractive and wow super easy to use. It has and auto feature that makes the picture the right size whether it’s off to the side or not straight on. Has auto focus but we seem to need to adjust that one or two clicks to make it perfect. What I like most is this is quiet. It has WiFi and other wireless features but we plugged in our fire stick for easy movie viewing and movie night. Get one. You won’t regret it great product nice quality and very good picture.

The Mini Projector is small, easy to use, and great for watching movies at home. It has apps like Netflix built in, so you don’t need anything extra. The picture looks good in dark rooms, and the sound is fine. It’s perfect for simple movie nights.

I am amazed by the quality of pictures, sharp and crystal clear. It’s very easy to setup, the instructions are very clear. It has build in Netflix, YouTube and amazon prime video loaded, you just need login to your account, you are ready to watch in a couple of minutes! The best feature I love is automatic focus, it will adjust the focus itself when you move around. It’s very small, you can carry around easily. It’s perfect for summer backyard movies! The only thing I wish is wireless input, hope it will have in the future. Overall I am enjoying it for my Netflix movies.

This portable projector is user friendly. We are not techy, but had no issues with set up and Bluetooth connection. It can be placed anywhere and can be angled for different viewing needs, by adjusting the handles. The projected image is clear. For essentially a portable TV, the price seems quite reasonable.

not 4k but the picture still looks great. I also love how small it is. i can easily fit it in my backpack to take to the office for presentations

I’m genuinely impressed with the quality of this mini projector. The image is crisp, colors are vibrant, and it works surprisingly well even in dim lighting. What really stood out to me was how easy it was to set up—no complicated instructions or extra equipment needed. I had it up and running within minutes. Whether it’s for movies, presentations, or casual streaming, it delivers a smooth and reliable experience. Definitely exceeded my expectations for something this compact.

great picture and sound, brighter than other led projectors I've tried. has a bluetooth remote and that took about a dozen tries to pair but once done is great.

It's a great projector, I had a couple issues with it. First, it has no lense cap/dust cover. For this price it really should come with a lense cap or dust cover. It also has no screen mirroring for Android devices, I can hook up an hdmi hub and connect the phone to the projector that way but Samsung Dex UI keeps stopping/crashing, and so it's not working well(a problem with my Samsung, not the projector) YouTube is installed but this projector doesn't block ads, it would have been nice to have an ad blocker or ability to install an app like Brave Browser or AdAway to block ads myself. I cannot tolerate ads on YouTube, especially when trying to study or sleep with relaxing videos.The autofocus works well but may need a slight manual focus correction (extremely easy to do as it's right on the remote + and - focus buttons)With that said, it's extremely light weight, sturdy, and if you accidentally disable Bluetooth like I did, the remote is infrared/Bluetooth hybrid (the infrared sensor for the projector is in the back) I scared myself at first, disabling Bluetooth and the remote didn't work. I thought I broke it but read the manual and it explains the infrared sensor in the back.I would say it's a bit expensive in my opinion for lacking screen mirroring, ad blocking and a dust cap for the lens, but at the same time if you can work around those issues or live with them it's a very nice projector. It's easy to setup

This small projector is an absolute gem. I have owned and reviewed other Dangbei projectors in the past and all of them tend to be reliable and enjoyable to use. The N2 Mini is no exception. Unboxing was simple and physically there is not much to setup. It's very much a plug and play projector. The built in stand provides an image projection wherever you want it (even the ceiling if that's your jam) and it's definitely a huge plus compared to standard projectors that sit on a table or shelf. The auto focus and keystone work very efficiently and the screen fit feature is great at helping to get a level and squared off image.The 1080p native resolution is sharp enough and I don't find myself wishing it was 4k. It's more than good enough for a movie of tv show. The color reproduction initially seemed a little cold to me but it was easy enough to make some tweaks. On the negative side, it's just 200 lumens, and ISO at that which is pretty low. This is not a daytime projector and I advise only using it in a dark environment or with the lights off.The built in speaker is 6W only but I was pleasantly surprised with how clear it sounded and the audio easily fills a smaller room. It doesn't have much bass but there is some depth there and a reasonable sound stage.This doesn't run android, but it does have a skinned version of Linux and there is an app store with a bunch of good streamers. Netflix is supported which is great. It states 300 apps which is low compared to Google Play or what you would find on Google TV but you could always connect a Fire stick or Android dongle.I think given the current sub $200 price tag, this is a steal and would be a great alternative to bedroom tv if you wanted a bigger image size or don't like how a TV looks on a wall.

On my dangbei, the image is not horizontal in length, but rather a little slanted. I don't think I'll bother changing it. I fold paper and put it under one side. A little worse effect on the projector, than I imagined. I was hoping for more brightness.
